Speaking to the local paper near his home in Westchester, New York, Rob noted that it took the group ten years to make their current album North, but said he doubted it would be that long before their next disc.
"I don’t think it’s going to be 10 years, especially because in 2016, we have a 20 year anniversary," Rob explained. "I would hate to have a 20-year anniversary and for us not to be playing music on it. That would just be stupid."
However, the singer said that he "can't think that far ahead" to the next record, since the band will be on tour all year in support of North.
Rob also explains why he chooses to live in Westchester, a well-to-do suburb of New York City. "Where I live in Westchester, everybody is richer and more famous than I am," he explains. "So I’m somewhere where I’m not a big deal, and that makes me feel really, really good."
